On Monday, the media and public were given a tour of Under Armour's new distribution hub outside of Nashville, Tenn. From a square footage standpoint, it is the largest industrial building in Middle Tennessee.
The Baltimore sportswear company's investment in Mt. Juliet totals more than $100 million. During the next five years, Under Armour (NYSE: UA) expects to employ around 1,500 people within these walls. At a ribbon-cutting for the facility Monday, Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank said he anticipates the company to overshoot that employment total.

Key word is distribution. UA manufacturing plants are in China, Latin America and Mexico. If our cooperate tax rates were more competitive those manufacturing jobs might stay in the USA.
