AMERICA’S LARGEST INSURER COULD BE PULLING OUT OF SOCIALIZED MEDICINE
The unraveling, multi-year debacle that is U.S. president Barack Obama‘s socialized medicine law – a.k.a. “Obamacare” – is continuing unabated.
The latest bodyblow? News that UnitedHealthcare – America’s largest insurer – was considering bailing on the program (less than a month after indicating it would expand its Obamacare presence).
“The company is evaluating the viability of the insurance exchange product segment and will determine during the first half of 2016 to what extent it can continue to serve the public exchange markets in 2017,” a statement from the company read.
United Healthcare also announced it was pulling back its marketing efforts for Obamacare-related products in the coming year – a sure sign that the company is exiting the business.

ReplyDeleteQuite honestly this isn't surprising. We all knew it would fail due to the fact the sneaky back door politics the Democrats pulled. Not to mention the large sums of money the insurance companies received for their part in this oBama scam. This is just one of many SCAMS pulled by this administration and Democrats that will fail.
ReplyDeletethis was the plan all along. how stupid can we be. the insurance companies back out nobody left but the fed
ReplyDeleteTo succeed, it has to have a good business model, which it currently doesn't.
ReplyDeleteWhen the insurance company bailouts were discovered and cancelled, they discovered no method for making enough money to fill all of their pockets!
ReplyDeleteIt was just another crony handout.....
What happened to the politicians talking about "repeal and replace"? Apparently that was just campaign rhetoric. Obama-Commie-Care is beginning to implode which will force the useless lying politicians to get off their collective butts and do something about the colossal screw up Obama has made of our health system.
ReplyDeletedon't be fooled. this was the plan. it's a way to rid competition. the govt will bail them out because they are 'too big to fail.' the smaller companies are in trouble but won't get bailed out and they will fold. then the health care insurance industry will be controlled by one or 2 large companies and consumer choices can be further limited. this is the democrat plan. they are against any business unless it's a big one. don't let them fool you. democrats are the worst of the worst. liars all of them.
