After an investigation by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a long list of online retailers that sold authentic-looking toy guns through Amazon.com have now agreed to stop peddling the toys to state residents.
The AG’s office says 30 retailers from around the country that sold illegal toys guns to NY consumers through Amazon’s third-party marketplace platform will permanently change their business practices in the state.
Federal law requires toy guns to have an orange stripe near the tip, but New York law goes a bit farther, prohibiting the toys from being blue, black, silver or aluminum. Instead, they must be brightly colored or translucent, to mark the more distinctly as toys and not the real thing.

ReplyDeleteLiberals (aka Socialists) believe they can solve all problems through government regulations. They don't believe in the bill of rights and they want everything to flow through government. It worked so well in Russia, East Germany, and Cuba, right? If we don't get these idiots out of office NOW, the only option left will be with real guns and real bullets and real blood.
ReplyDeleteI guess they would all have a heart attack if we were to pull out of 1950's "Cap guns" that had that roll of red poppers installed in it (and smelled pungent). I would have been locked up for playing "Cowboys and Indians" due to the gun issue and the fact I was being "insensitive" or "offense" to the Indians, oops, I mean native americans. Today's America sucks big time. If you are 40 and over I am sure you are lamenting those time.
