Verizon Adds Yet Another Activation Fee For New Wireless Customers Because They Can

You know what the best thing is about mobile phones? Countless fees! Wait, no, that’s the worst thing, sorry. My mistake. But Verizon seems to have the same confusion, because the nation’s largest-by-far wireless provider is now adding even more fees onto their customers’ bills, because they can.

  1. Right now I have Verizon and the signal is good in Salisbury but I will drop calls in Delmar Delaware

  2. 5:23, I can tell you that Verizon has the best service in this area then anyone else. However, you are right. In the Delmar area, (especially after 9 PM) the signal sucks. Yet, for some reason, they don't know why.

  4. Att is just as iOS around here in my experience. I commute Salisbury to va eastern shore everyday and always have a connection. The fees are a different story though. It's like both Verizon and att have fees close to $10 a month now.

  5. I use consumer Celluar. My wife and I share 400 minutes for 35 per month. I have never had a dropped call anywhere that I have traveled here on the shore or when I leave the state on vacation. I got rid of Verizon years ago and I have never regretted it.

  6. They throttle you that is why your signal sucks at 9 PM... Especially if you have unlimited data, they throttle you hard time, because they do it to me and I live in Delmar...

They added a tower from what it looks like in my area and the signal still sucks so it has to be the throttling...

And if VZW tells you they do not know the reason for the drop, you are an idiot to believe them... They monitor and track everything done to the dirt level... They like all companies want you to pay more for less...

My question is, since they are making the unlimited data users pay an extra 20 bucks a month for having unlimited, I want to know why they still throttle us.....

  7. We are becoming a nation of monopolies, but less regulation is good right? Let the businesses run wild and take advantage of who they can.
