TOWSON, Md. —A jury on Monday acquitted former Baltimore Ravens player Terrence Cody on two felony charges, but found him guilty on misdemeanor charges in an animal cruelty case.
Cody, 27, was indicted in February on charges of aggravated animal cruelty, neglect, illegal possession of an alligator and possession of marijuana.
Prosecutors said a Presa Canario dog named Taz starved to death, and they claim that Cody and his girlfriend, Kourtney Kelley, were responsible.
While Kelley chose not to testify, Cody took the stand on Fridaytestifying on his behalf.

Yup, as long as you can play sports you can beat, and torture animals.
ReplyDeletean impartial jury in Baltimore...Black thugs lives matter
ReplyDeleteMichael Vick went to jail for his role in a dog fighting ring...not too sure where you have been @10:44?
ReplyDelete11:29 Michael Vick was charged with Racketeering and booking bets as well but made it back to the NFL because he owed NIKE almost 40 Million dollars. Not because he was contrite or reformed. Pete Rose's life should matter too..
ReplyDelete11:29, and you know this how? Did you know he spends plenty of his time going around and speaking at different events promoting the end of dog fighting as well as speaking to troubled youth?????? Probably not because you are set in what you believe. Look it up, please. Pete Rose GAMBLED ON BASEBALL, you know the sport he plays. I am not too sure you can fix an NFL game by betting on dog fighting. Good try.
ReplyDelete11:29 so you are ok with him burning dogs alive with gas? He served his time so all is forgiven? Well, I got a sex offender that went to jail and he is out, he wants to babysit are you ok with it, afterall he served his time.
ReplyDeletefor the 10th time... screw the NFL
ReplyDelete@1:53, I do not ever recall saying I condone or am happy with what he did. I simply argued that he was convicted for his role in animal cruelty. I also know for a fact that he makes public appearances to speak against it. This does not equate to condoning his actions, I was merely offering an argument that he has tried to atone for his mistakes after you or someone stated that he was not "contrite or reformed." A sign of the times, in 2015 if you do not agree with someone then you must side with the ideology of the opposite side. Someone like Greg Hardy is not contrite, but Michael Vick has actually made strides to atone for his actions. I at least give him credit for that. Does that mean I enjoy the fact he set dogs on fire????? Hell no, that is a straw mans argument.
