PAUL RYAN TELLS SEAN HANNITY HE WILL NOT SUPPORT ANY CUTS TO MUSLIM IMMIGRATION: ‘THAT’S NOT WHO WE ARE’

House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) ruling out making any cuts to Muslim immigration.

In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Ryan declared that considering an applicant’s religion would not be “appropriate” and would be fundamentally un-American— insisting “that’s not who we are.”

In his questioning of Ryan, Hannity cited populist thought leader
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), who chairs the Senate Immigration Subcommittee and whose office has put out a series of analyses in recent months detailing the enormous scope of immigration into the United States in general, as well as the vast scope Muslim immigration in particular.

Since 9/11, the U.S. has accepted more than 2 million immigrants, refugees and asylees from predominantly Muslim nations. Sessions has repeatedly called on Congress to reduce the number of green cards issued, including in an op-ed last week one day prior to the Paris attack.

  5. We have our own damn refugee problem in the US. Its called "homelessness" and the working poor. How about taking care of our own before bringing in any more foreigners. Cut the damn foreign aid by 70% and our economic woes would be eliminated at the same time.

  7. Paul Ryan is ONE congressman, not a king.
If decisions are to be made, they are to be made by ALL the congressmen in a proper debate and vote.

This power tripping thing is why Boehner was thrown overboard.

  8. Paul Ryan didn't want the job and he is not going to overly fight for anything. He will be there until we get a new president. He is not sticking his neck out for anyone or anything.

  9. if he is "not sticking his neck out" then Ryan must be pretty smug in thinking he is immune from losing his seat... that concerns me more than anything ..just another politico who has no desire to listen to the pulse of his district

    1. Absolutely correct. They all get too comfortable after a while. Look at Cummings and that twitt malkluski both been in too long they become useless. Cardin even Harris but get his act together as well. People vote the party line too often and these hacks know it. Most people in Maryland love to be told what to do and who to vote for. Can't think for themselves. Where can you get a job and work it for a few years quit and still get paid with the best health insurance taxpayers can buy.

  10. Another Bozo. Yes it IS who we are and always have been you stupid SOB Ryan. He is a product of the US public "education" system. He went to Miami U in Ohio a PUBIC institution. Used toliet paper has more value than his diploma or any other from a public US "education" institution and it's showing. During WW2 immigration was halted completely for those wanting to enter from enemy countries.
If Ryan had a functioning brain he would be ashamed of himself for saying something so ridiculous. Either that or he is a damn liar just like most of them in DC.
