Maryland's nascent medical marijuana industry is already booming.
More than 350 applicants for licenses to grow, process or dispense medical marijuana were filed with the state's Medical Cannabis Commission by Friday evening's deadline as entrepreneurs try to get in at the ground floor of the newest pot market. The applications cover every county in the state.
"It's very busy, and we're very excited," said Dr. Paul Davies, the commission's chairman. "There's an awful lot of excitement buzzing around."

ReplyDeleteIt sucks. Now I can't buy a bag for a decent price with all the folks selling now anticipating their sales cut. Makes me wonder what they'll do when folks can get it legally . Will they start selling cheaper then dispensaries or move to other harder drugs ,totally flooding the streets with more lethal dope to make their money.

Delete446 Colorado making 1 billion a year on legal marijuana sales. This is not including illegal marijuana sales. Heroin dealer in Colorado are not making over a billion a year. Look it up.
