Ex-student applies for probation over mac and cheese rant

ROCKVILLE, Conn. (AP) — A former University of Connecticut student who went on a drunken, obscenity-laced tirade about jalapeno-bacon macaroni and cheese applied for probation Monday.

Luke Gatti filed the application for accelerated rehabilitation at Rockville Superior Court, The Hartford Courant reported.

The charges against him misdemeanor breach of peace and criminal trespassing will be dropped if he is accepted into the program for first-time offenders and meets the required conditions.
