Bloodshed Continues; Baltimore Surpasses 300th Homicide

BALTIMORE (WJZ)–Baltimore City violence reaches a grim milestone tonight and surpasses the 300th homicide of the year.

WJZ’s Amy Yensi has the latest.

A deadly stabbing in South West Baltimore, marks the 300th homicide in the city this year. A 27 year old man, stabbed multiple times Saturday night.

Hours later the homicide number hits 301 after a 22-year-old is fatally shot in the chest.

Police Commissioner Kevin Davis saying in a statement, “as our city experiences a sad homicide milestone tonight, it’s important to pause and vow to continue our collective fight to find a better path forward. Baltimore will win again, 2015 will not define us, and the nation will once again see our city for the determination that has long defined us.”

The 300th victim killed just hours after the 300 Men March against violence in Baltimore.

    Looks like it's time to rethink the omalley gun ban. Unless the goal of the ban was for Baltimore to self implode. Then it's working great.

    more people killed here than in terrorist attack in paris, Americans killing Americans makes no sense at all. Obummer has been a great divider.

    God isn't going to stop with these people until they stop pretending to be religious Christians and get back to Him in a REAL way.
