um, no thanks. a "Network Specialist" should make more than what the county offers. I've being doing this for 22 years and would love a county job, but to from $113k to $35k is a joke for any IT worker. Maintaining a network, users, and sql databases are not hard by any means, but the job is extremely time-intensive with older systems. What's your time worth?
none of the govt jobs pay well it is the working hours, holidays and benefits that keep people there I bet all the dept directors including mr culver could make two to four times more in the private sector
