I'm not surprised. This and the similar L & M "laboratory" in Berlin were started back in the good old days of uncontrolled pollution by "wildcatters" in the chicken vaccine business – Lasher in Millsboro and Lynch and Murray down there. My relatives worked at both places and I can recall their tales when I was young. Maybe Maryland should look into the one down there that closed a couple years ago.
ReplyDeleteWhen they sold out to "big Pharma" Lasher, Lynch and Murray got rich, but at the expense of the environment in one case if not both.
