Dogs of war and men of hate
With no cause, we don’t discriminate
Discovery is to be disowned
Our currency is flesh and bone
Hell opened up and put on sale
Gather ’round and haggle
For hard cash, we will lie and deceive
Even our masters don’t know the web we weave
One dog has stuck his nose out from behind the curtain…barely.
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair says he’s sorry for “mistakes” made in the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, but he doesn’t regret bringing down dictator Saddam Hussein.
What blabbering is this? Without putting too fine a point on it, if you only wanted to take out Saddam, did you need to turn an entire region into hell?
“I can say that I apologize for the fact that the intelligence we received was wrong because, even though he had used chemical weapons extensively against his own people, against others, the program in the form that we thought it was did not exist in the way that we thought,” Blair said…
How much more passive can he be? I apologize for the intelligence I received? “I apologize that Tommy had the wrong answer when I copied his test.”
Blair told Zakaria that besides the flawed Iraq intelligence, he also apologizes “for some of the mistakes in planning and, certainly, our mistake in our understanding of what would happen once you removed the regime.”
Obviously no lessons were learned – as no one stopped removing (or trying to remove) regimes in Libya or Syria, for example.
But he stopped short of a full apology for the war.
“I find it hard to apologize for removing Saddam. I think, even from today in 2015, it is better that he’s not there than that he is there,” Blair said.

Saddam may have had (MAY) some WMD's, but he NEVER had the ability to hit us (and Israel would turn that country into glass). We went there to avenge the attack on Bush's father.
ReplyDeleteANOTHER example of rich people Americans sending poor Americans to die.
When it was time for Bush, Jr. to serve, he ran like a coward and couldn't be found. Brave enough, though, to make OTHER men and women
do what he didn't have the courage to do.
And then, to make sure that OTHER Americans didn't get too uppity, he passed the PATRIOT ACT, which eviscerated the Constitution. Instead of being on the verge of revolt, most Americans gave a full-throated cheer every time some politician started "USA!! USA!! USA!!" and waved goodbye to their sons and daughters. The next time their parents saw them, they'd be missing some parts. USA! USA! USA!. All that they died for and sacrificed limbs for was given back by obama, another coward. And still you cheered.
Those politicians screw you every day with lying, cheating, and stealing and YOU CHEER!!!
Privately, they think you must have an IQ of about 25 and they wonder at what point will you finally get angry?
Its hard to be angry while on your knees in submission.
Keep cheering, you lemmings.
We'll have another war soon and YOUR kid is next.
Bush's kids and obama's kids will "write a book", or "open their own consulting firm", or become "lobbyists" and of course, heavily praise the "heroes" who do their fighting for them. The closest ANY of them will come to a war will be measured in how many feet they are from the TV.
Start the hanging.
Keep cheering.
Forgot the last part of the song: "one world."
