Amazing

  1. I think all tattoo's are a form of mutilation. I really don't understand why someone would want to permanently do this to themselves! It's definitely unprofessional and a job killer for most job seekers. Also makes you easily identifiable to police.

    1. If you worried about the police then you probably don't have a job.

  2. Sorry. Tattoos are ugly.

  3. It amazes me that a so called Christian puts tattoos on them. Even if it is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches not to do these things for the body is a temple of God. You don't desecrate it.

    1. I don't care for people that can't do 20 pulls or 100 push ups. Guys hanging over their belts and women with muffin tops. Makes my skin crawl. Always same accuses like I've tried dieting or I work out it just doesn't come off. Killing our health insurance premiums. Tattoos are fine to me. Could careless.

  5. 9:28, I think I'll bite my tongue on this one and let other Christians reply to your comment.

    1. The comment according to the Bible is correct. However Christian people have become very lax. Ear piercing ,tattoos to cigarettes. So many things many Christian people do that is wrong. And praying for forgiveness for the same thing day in and out will not be forgiven by the Lord.

  6. I totally agree with 9:28. I have gotten in this argument more than once with a biker who goes to my church. He states he is doing this for the glory of the lord, but I have told him it is stated in Bible the body is a temple and should not be desecrated. He came back with in biblical times they wore tattoos and slaves were marked by their master for ownership. What more reason is there not to have tattoos!!!! We are made in the image of god, why would anyone want to ruin this by permanently marking themselves with ink? It is an idol and god hates idols.

  7. 9:28 am show me one New Testament scripture in the Bible where it says no tattoos!

  8. Wow, some of the comments here. The Bible also says to judge not, lest you be judged. I don't like tattoos at all, but there is no reason for Christians to attack people who have them. If a biker is coming to church, be grateful he's there. Don't hassle him because he has tattoos. Christians who focus on these little things instead of the wider message of salvation are missing the entire point of the religion.

    1. The tattoos od f a new member/bijer where already there and the Lord will forgive him. But the fact that Christian people continue to do the same things over N over is not in good favor with the Lord.

When you go to a temple do you just stay outside and look at it? Or is the important part inside the temple. This scripture is referring to the inside of the temple meaning your mind and heart. It amazes me how so called Christians can tell someone that a tattoo is a sin while all along the inside of their temple is filthy with sin.

  10. I don't care for tattoos, body piercings for gauges in ears. Looks totally unprofessional and trashy! Just goes to show just how far we have degraded as a society and lack of morals and judgement! Common sense has gone out the door! It's like a freak show everywhere!

  11. So some of you are basically saying that IF a man or woman came to the Church because they found and accepted Jesus Christ in their life they should be DENIED acceptance because they have a tattoo?

Unlike some of you, I know of and was raised on a different Christianity and am glad of it.

Darn it, I was supposed to bite my tongue.

    1. No Joe. Far from. What is being said is once a person commits to a relationship with Christ .... They aren't to keep doing the things they did that is unfavorable to the Lord. They will be accepted. But if the person is say a doper or a thief and continues to live that life style..... I can guarantee you that he is not a devoted Christian but a fake who will eventually be shunned or asked to leave. Read on the mustard seed.

  12. Joe , don't bite your tongue. Common sense in my thinking is better. WHY WOULD ANYONE PLACE THAT B.S.ON THEIR SKIN. I would like to view all the tattoos when they reach the age of 70 or older, with the wrinkley skin, or they gain weight and become fat. Gotta be disgusting.

  13. you people stating the body being a temple are right but you completely miss apply it. its people like you that turn off the world to Christ and you're quite frankly embarrassing. If your body is such a holy temple then i know you have perfect diet, 0% body fat, and you avoid anything impure. You're no different than the Pharisees standing on the corner in bible days. I only pray you realize the error of your ways before its too late.

  14. 10:20, Twenty years ago I could come out of the shower and see that I looked pretty darned good. TODAY, I think not. I've gained weight, lost weight, have wrinkles and I guess in your words I'm pretty disgusting.

You're making me think though. Maybe I should go out and get a replica tattoo of what I looked like twenty years ago on my chest. This way I can get out of the shower and say, YEAH BABY!

  17. So we shouldn't change anything.
Guess there should be no body cosmetic surgery.
Even when a woman has to have a mastectomy.
Who is anyone to judge another. Or to say where the line should be drawn.
I do not have any tattoos....but never found anything I wanted on my body permently. I have no problem going to church with someone who has one or twenty tattoos.

  18. 1:05 If you have no problem, then your tolerance is the problem. We live in a society where anything goes and you get shot down if you disagree with it. This is nation is toast due to low morals and our current society in general. We have become the modern version of Sodom and Gomorrah. Mystery Babylon and it's destruction in the bible. God help us!

  19. The God of the Old Testament was harsh and unforgiving but when his son Jesus came to earth and died for our sins he heralded a New Testament of a forgiving and loving God. Of course if those of you who profess to be Christian actually paid attention in Sunday School and Church you would know that.

    1. God was not. He was represented by profits in visions and dreams. Many times these men misunderstood the premonition and preached with a mis guided tounge. So god sent the Lord to be the utmost authority and to represent him as the living God. Christ the son of God. Jesus. Jesus came and corrected many of these wrongful teachings such as the eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth. Jesus said that is wrong and to forgive anyone who's done you wrong. No matter what.

  20. Tattoos is an expression of one's self. Words expressed by picture. Hello, folks some form of skin art, body art was worn in the days of Christ. If a biker, lawyer or any other professional came into a church with body art, let them be. Get over it!!! Expression is an art form, geesh!! For anyone who chooses to call themselves Christian's you should know that, only God can judge, not hypocrite Christians that are high almighty on Sunday, then can't practice the word Monday thru Saturday. Our society is quick to make judgement on others without knowing the true path of one's life choices. It's some people in this world that make me thankful that I'm a Wicca...

  24. GOD loves everyone equally, even the unlovable. GOD bless the biker friend that has found Jesus for he will be rewarded, his sins are forgiven that means yesterday's sins, today's sins, and tomorrow's sins, all of them are forgiven. Also, I believe he is correct in the old testament, there was body inking done however that practice did not carry over into the new testament.

We all would be better off to get back to reading the Bible as opposed to watching so much TV or doing other things. Not judging, just making an observation about the world we live in today. All of us need GOD'S help everyday.
