"What are your parents' political views?" gun survey asks
“Does your family own any guns?” asks a high school survey reportedly sent to 100 students. “If so, how many?”
The gun survey given to journalism students at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, Texas, also asks students for their parents’ political views.

Sounds like East Germany. Turn in your parents.
ReplyDeleteThey had my sons do a journal to write down his thoughts and feelings when they were in elementary and middle school. I advised them early on, to be very careful what they say.
My older son put in his thoughts and feelings about black history month. We were called into the school because of this. They put us on trial, three black teachers and one white and punished my son for his writings in this journal. All he stated was he was sick of black history and wanted to know why there wasn't a white history month? I backed him up, but they gave him in school suspension because of this!!! Wish I had the money to pay for a private school or had the resources to home school them. I was told by the principal there is no free speech in school!
I am so glad they are now out of the school system. I've learned what is said at home stays at home. Be careful what you say in public. Big brother is listening!
Good for you for backing him up! What school was this, if you don't mind?
DeleteSad to me to read the previous situation mentioned as well as this latest news report. Obviously, gone are the days when schools functioned as real institutions of learning, only now to stand as locations for attempted brainwashing and political theater. I pity anyone who has to raise children amid such conditions. How much further will the liberal left go to pursue their idiotic agenda? This situation and others like it are simply ludicrous.
ReplyDeleteThis is complete BS! Nothing less...and it is happening right under our noses. Elected school boards anyone?
ReplyDelete2:56 It was Salisbury Middle School
ReplyDeleteIt was back in 2007
My understanding of this was it was a survey created by the school's journalism class students and passed out to a little over 200 kids and was completely voluntary. It was research for an article to be published in the school newspaper. It could have been influenced by the teacher but this has not been confirmed.
ReplyDeleteSchools have been pulling crap like this for years, remember the mock presidential elections, kids voted the same way as they heard their parents talk. The gun thing is found out by them when hunting season comes, and parents ask for time off from school for their kids.
ReplyDeleteI've already instructed my kids to not tell teachers or doctors what we have in the home.
ReplyDeleteEvery year the BOE wants more money. For what?? Interrogation techniques of students? ? Now we know why the test scores are so low. They don't teach anymore they have surveillance instead. Come to think of it this ALL started when the police got assigned to schools. I guess the cops got tired of chasing the teacher around the desk.
ReplyDeleteNo...this has absolutely nothing to do with police in schools, and you know it. You are just trying to agitate.
DeleteWhy doesn't? ? Seems like a valid point. Worth an investigation .
DeleteWow. Somebody struck a nerve???
DeleteThat is none of their F**KING BUSINESS!!!

ReplyDelete"yes, there are about 70 guns -- my dad won't let me see ALL of them -- in my house with so much ammo that there is a room dedicated to the storage of it.
Plus my dad is a veteran and loves to shoot them. AND ,we have a Confederate flag over the fireplace. Right next to the dart board with obamas picture on it."
And when protective services show up because you are such a danger to the sheep, use their body like a scarecrow and hang it up front by the mailbox.
You can also use it to sight your weapons in....
