Dropping objects from a building. Smdh. What law is this? Is it even a real charge?
ReplyDeleteYes 3:36. Ocean City Code Sec 58-6 Dropping objects or throwing objects on or at vehicles, property or persons.
ReplyDeleteIt shall be unlawful for any person within the corporate limits of Ocean City, Maryland, to drop, throw, kick, push, slide or in any other manner move or eject any stone, board or other object or missile upon or at any vehicle, building or other public or private property, or upon or at any person in any public or private way or place. This prohibition shall not apply to persons engaged in athletic or recreational activities where same are not otherwise prohibited by law.
If someone was walking by and had been killed the charge would have been "2nd degree depraved-heart murder".
