Ben Carson wins MDGOP Presidential Straw Poll

Annapolis, MD – Today, the Maryland Republican Party announces its results from its month long MDGOP Presidential Straw Poll and we would like to congratulate Maryland’s own, Ben Carson on winning the Straw Poll. The Poll was conducted over the last month and surveyed nearly a thousand Maryland citizens through direct mail, social media and at the Maryland State Fair.

Ben Carson – 296 (31.8%)

Donald Trump – 241 (25.9%)

Marco Rubio – 65 (6.9%)

Ted Cruz – 64 (6.8%)

Jeb Bush – 55 (5.9%)

Scott Walker – 44 (4.7%)
