A Viewer Writes: Remember this guy?

Saw this guy is now working for Red Door Sub Shop in Salisbury. He was cussing about the fact he lost his job at Pizza City for burning toilet paper. The guy he was talking to actually thought he was talking about toilet paper. Then this worthless American had the nerve to tell him it was the flag and pulled out his phone to show pics with pride. Needless to say the coward locked himself in a vehicle when I approached him with what I had to say. Just figured the people would like to know where he is now and he hasn't changed or learned his lesson as of yet.

    4. 10:22...nobody living in America has owned slaves or been a slave. The problem with America isn't its past but rather the current situation where blacks have destroyed everything they touch. EVERYTHING. Jump into a book and get out of your feelings. I'm done letting people try their hand at the race card without getting called out for their pure idiocy. Nobody owes you a mf'ing thing except a history lesson.

    5. So on an article about a white guy burning a flag you say, "blacks destroy everything they touch?" How ironic smh.... how about you check YOUR history and see everywhere white people go there's war, thievery, etc then record it in history as "discovery" or some other bs lie.

  21. Overturning a Texas law in 1989, the Supreme Court ruled 5 to 4 that burning an American flag in protest is a form of political speech protected under the First Amendment. Congress later passed a federal anti-flag-desecration law, and the high court invalidated it on the same grounds.

Whether you like it or not, its called freedom of speech.

    1:09 empty idle mindless ignorant.
Get me fired for speaking the truth about the dumpster of a town you live in?

  22. Currently, flag burning is not illegal in the United States. The Supreme Court of the United States in its decision from 1969 has ruled that the burning of the flag is protected by the First Amendment. However, the person who burnt the flag can be found guilty of a misdemeanor for starting a fire without a permit.

  23. 10:19.. do you have a point? Such a mouth? Not one curse word. Truth can be painful sometimes, no need to lash out. Try and comprehend the truth, breathe it is and accept it.

  24. 11:21 apologize for exercising his right? why? It's not against the law? He has nothing to apologize for. Bad taste, sure. Nothing to ruin a persons life over. Did he kill anyone? Did he harm anyone? What he did was meaningless.

    1. he has a lot to apologize for.think about the hardships you could have brought to the businesses that he works at. the problems he could have brought to his family's house when he lived there. People have to think about their actions. a person's actions usually affect other people.

  25. This is the kinda of cyber bullying that kills people.
What first comes to mind when I read this kind of stuff is who is the sick-f that thought this post was worthy of attention.

Who ever submitted this is far more sick and mentally challenged than the guy that burned the flag.

How long you going to continue to harass this individual? That is what you are doing. Cyber bullying and harassment.

You are illegally and purposefully bringing harm to an individual, both financial and emotional.

What did getting him fired accomplish?
Disgusting small minded town with with a bunch of ignorant mob mentality rednecks.

  28. Maryland
The State of Maryland imposes a fine of up to $1000 and a jail term of up to 1 year for anyone who mutilates, defaces or shows contempt for the U.S. flag or the Maryland state flag in a manner intended to incite a breach of the peace. The law also forbids the use of such flags for advertising or publicity purposes. [Md. Code Ann. Art. 27, Sec. 81-87]

Just as it was his right to burn the flag it is also the right of another person to openly voice their displeasure with his action.

If he was fired from his job that was the decision of the business he was working for. They were not obligated to terminate his employment.

Exercising your right to do something has to be taken with some measure of good judgement and understanding the possible ramifications of that action.

An example would be organizing a gay rights parade through the center of Dearborn Michigan. You have the right to do it, but is that using the best common sense or judgement?

He is ultimately responsible for his actions. He posted the picture. He knew it would cause a negative response and he did it with a big grin. He was not concerned about other peoples sensitivities to the action, so I ask why should those people he offended care about his?

  30. He doesn't work at Red Door, he was let go when it was brought to the owners attention

  31. I don't want to put him on welfare, but I don't want him around my neighborhood. What happens if I wear patriotic clothing, does he spit in my food? He's so adamant about desecrating a countrys flag, which is his choice, while that country gives him the right to exercise just that
