Wicomico County Fair Draws Over 2,000 Visitors On Opening Day Alone

The SBYNews Drone flew over the County Fair and captured these images on Saturday.

Last year the Fair brought in a total of 600 visitors, this year was a whole different story.

Participants and County Officials couldn't be happier and truly appreciate everyone who took the time out to attend.

  1. I really wish I could have made but I have some serious health issues right now. I'm glad it was attended by many and look forward to being there next year.

  8. We went both Friday and Saturday, really enjoyed it. With both the Salisbury Festival and Delmarva Chicken Festival gone, there is a real need for family friendly events. Especially outside the city, which cuts down on the potential for uncivilized behavior.

  10. Chicken was good, but too expensive for this type of family event.

  13. My 2 year old daughter loved all the animals. Well, except the cows. Their size was a little overwhelming for her. But she was all smiles.

  14. So sorry I missed this event and for sure next year I will take the time. It was the perfect summer weekend weather for the fair and what a great turnout. The County deserves a big THANK YOU (thank you Bob Culver) for keeping this event as the city of Salisbury seems to be cancelling more events that normally would draw lots of people to. Also looking forward to the upcoming Wine Festival in October (also a county event),
