White House staffer fires Glock handgun at her boyfriend, a Capitol Police officer
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WJLA) - A White House staffer has been charged with domestic violence after threatening her boyfriend, a Capitol Police officer, with his service gun and firing one shot in his direction, according to a police report in court documents.
Barvetta Singletary, a special assistant to the president and a White House legislative liaison to the House, has been charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. The White House says she has been placed on unpaid leave, pending further investigation.
According to the documents, Singletary invited her boyfriend to her home
in the 13000 block of Burnished Wood Court in Upper Marlboro Thursday
night, August 6. After having sex, Singletary began asking questions
about his relationship with another woman he was dating. More
So, cops need COMBAT weapons in an area that has more police than anywhere on Earth?? Come on...are they expecting an ISIS invasion? Can you imagine THIS happening in ANY previous presidency? Tell me how many cops are using prosthetic legs or don't have their arms because they lost them on the mean streets of Salisbury? Your self-deception of being in "combat" dishonors my friends and makes you look like a short little boy who got picked on and now prances around with a gun thinking he's a bad-ass. Take that badge off and drop the radio and you wouldn't last 20 seconds in a fight, as in hand-to-hand combat. One of my friends only has one leg and I'd bet he'd rip your throat out in ten seconds and beat you 'til you cried like a girl.
