Sex Cheater Site Ashley Madison Hacked, Member Data Released: 15,000 Gov’t Workers Are Members

We reported back on July 20 that the sex cheater website AshlyMadison.com had a data theft and tens of thousands of its cheater members had their personal information stolen. Now that info has been released on the Dark Web and among the info was 15,000 government email addresses apparently used to sign up for membership.

We reported in July that the hackers stole the info and then demanded that Ashley Madison shut its services down so that people could no longer so easily cheat on their spouses.

Well, this week the hackers did release all that personal information. And in that in that data dump we find that 15,000 government workers had signed up for the cheater service.

  1. The morals of some people in this country are just pathetic. I'm glad that I didn't marry someone like that. We keep God first in our lives and that's what keeps us close to each other.

  2. Josh Duggar was one of them. Sickening.

  3. 12:27: I wonder how many wives in this country say and think exactly what you said? Pretty sure Josh Duggar's wife or Subway Jared's wife felt the same way you do until recently. It's hard to truly know what's in a man's heart.

  4. 1:02 Hard to know a woman's heart, too. Takes two to tango.

  5. 1:02, we stay accountable to each other. We know each others passwords to everything, share a bank account, etc. It makes cheating pretty hard to do, even if we wanted to. I'm not saying it would never happen, and I agree it's hard to know what is in peoples hearts. I am sure Josh Duggar's wife is a brokenhearted woman right now. I especially feel bad for her.

  6. The sad thing is, as bad as Anna Duggar feels right now, there are potentially THOUSANDS (or more) who are brokenhearted since the hacking of this website. I am sorry for their pain, but very glad this was exposed.

  8. Josh Duggar even maintained a second address on the site for when he was in DC working for the Family Research council.
Always the ones who yell the loudest turn out to be the worst offenders.

  11. I can understand why a partner would cheat if there hasn't been any sex in the marriage in years. I am in this type of marriage, and I haven't done this, but I can understand why. We have needs, and if they are unfilled, especially for a number of years, why not go elsewhere?

  12. 3:03, what if the sex life is very active? And, even if it's not, no need to break your marriage vows doing something so disgusting as to go to a site like this. NO EXCUSES!!
