The former Maryland governor will hold a press conference Wednesday outside Trump’s hotel with leaders of the Culinary Workers Union Local 226, workers at the Trump hotel, and other union activists and hospitality industry workers.
The union counts a large number of Hispanic workers as members and is an influential political force in Nevada, which has a high concentration of hotel, casino and restaurant workers.
On Friday, the protesters will march from Las Vegas Boulevard to the Trump hotel “to demand equality.” The union says about 500 workers at the Trump hotel want to join it.
