On May 28, 2015, Joshua Huffman, age 38, of Hebron, Maryland was convicted by a Wicomico County jury of Sex Offense 2nd Degree, Sex Abuse of a Minor and related offenses following a two-day jury trial. Huffman sexually abused a five-year old child in his home in 2012.
The Honorable Leah J. Seaton sentenced Huffman to serve a Life sentence in the Division of Corrections. He will also have to register for life as a Tier III Sex Offender. Huffman was previously convicted in 2012 of the same offenses, but the Court of Special Appeals reversed the conviction in December 2014 and awarded Huffman a new trial.
Wicomico County State’s Attorney Matthew A. Maciarello commended the members of the Child Advocacy Center and Detective Seichepine of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office for their work in the investigation and prosecution of this case. Mr. Maciarello also thanked Senior Assistant State’s Attorney, Karen M. Dean, who prosecuted the case.

Great job....that is some sick stuff
ReplyDeleteIf the Judge had not over turned his first conviction he would have been in prison and not out on the streets to commit this sick crime.
ReplyDeleteOne case that makes me vomit is Judge Simpson letting out Thomas Leggs and we all know how tragic that turned out....
I hope these Judges lay awake a night because they are haunted with nightmares!

ReplyDeleteU don't know what u are talking about. He was never released from jail after his conviction was overturned. He stayed in jail until his second trial and conviction. He was never out.
Some people just can't read and comprehend the information.
ReplyDeleteGreat judge!
ReplyDeleteGood judge for a liberal appointed by Owemally.
ReplyDeleteWell I hope he has a wig!! He's sure going to need it. The next thing he's going to want is a sex change operation!! I hope he enjoys life bent over and looking at the floor!!!
ReplyDeleteShort Eyes don't do well in DOC. He's going to have more than a serial jailhouse sex experience. Beatings and stabbings come to mind.
ReplyDeleteLeggs served his time in md. They wanted to jail him but couldnt. Delaware dropped the ball on tht sic psycho. Of course the law is azz backwards anyway. Perverts & addicts get less time then a dealer.
