Centennial couple celebrates 75 years of marital bliss


CATONSVILLE, Md. —A Baltimore County couple celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary Tuesday.

Walter and Leslie Kimmel are both 100 years old. They were married 75 years ago on Aug. 18, 1940.

The centennial couple celebrated their anniversary Tuesday afternoon at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville where they live. SugarBakers, of Catonsville, provided a personalized cake for the pair.
