    I guess the tax payers will once again pay for the damage caused to the docks.

    The event sponsor puts up a bond, that is used for any damage.

    Taxpayers come out on the plus side of this event, with the taxes collected from increased food and beverage sales.

    It's a fun event, and the skills of the boat Captain's are amazing.

    It's obvious 7:19 has never been to one of these events. Always a complainer in the crowd of anonymous commenters.
