Suspect: Jamie Michael Walker, 26, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 6 July 2015 at 9:00 PM a deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Jamie Walker after clocking Walker at 74 mph in a 40 mph zone on Naylor Mill Road. Upon making contact with Walker, the deputy detected a strong odor of alcohol. The deputy also observed that Walker used his vehicle to help maintain his balance upon exit. The odor along with the physical indicators observed prompted the deputy to begin sobriety testing. Following the tests, the deputy placed Walker under arrest for DUI.
Walker had a two year old child strapped into a car seat inside the vehicle. During processing, Walker refused to submit to a breath test.
The deputy transported Walker to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Walker in the Detention Center in lieu of $10,000.00 bond.

Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 8 July 2015
Location: 6000 block of Edwards Avenue, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Jordan Kyle Townsend, 25, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 8 July 2015 at 2:15 a deputy arrested Jordan Townsend following an investigation into an incident that reportedly occurred on 4 July 2015 in the 6000 block of Edwards Avenue in Salisbury. It is alleged that during an altercation Townsend took a shotgun and pointed it at another individual while making threats. Townsend then reportedly used the butt of the shotgun to break out to windows on the same individual’s vehicle. According to witnesses at the scene, the shotgun discharged into the air while Townsend was butt stroking the vehicle’s windows. According to another witness, Townsend reloaded the shotgun and continued to strike the vehicle, at which time the shotgun discharged for a second time.
No one was injured in this incident.
Townsend was gone upon the arrival of the deputy. Following the investigation into this incident, the deputy obtained a warrant for Townsend’s arrest. Upon apprehension, Townsend was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Townsend in lieu of a bond of $150,000.00.

Incident: WCSO Warrant Arrests
Date of Incident: 2-4 July 2015
On 2 July 2015 a deputy arrested Brian Eugene Somers, 30 of Crisfield, MD, on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Somers failed to appear for a burglary case in the Circuit Court. Somers was detained without bond.
On 3 July 2015 a deputy arrested Shaquille D. Gaskins, 21 of Salisbury, on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Gaskins violated the terms of his probation following a CDS Distribution case. Gaskins was detained on a bond of $25,000.00.
On 4 July 2015 a deputy arrested Beverly Romaine Fountain, 52 of Princess Anne, MD, on a District Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Fountain failed to appear for a theft case. Fountain was released on Personal Recognizance.
On 4 July 2015 a deputy arrested Shawn Joseph Simon, 44 of Pocomoke City, MD, on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Simon failed to appear for a theft case in the Circuit Court. Simon was detained without bond.

Incident: WCSO Warrant Arrests
Date of Incident: 7 July 2015
On 7 July 2015 a deputy arrested Bernie Ishmael Davis Sr., 47 of Salisbury, on a District Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Davis failed to appear for a violation of probation hearing in a bad check case. Davis was detained on a bond of $25,000.00.
On 7 July 2015 a deputy arrested John Joseph Sakal, 48 of Salisbury, on a District Court Bench Warrant after he violated the terms of his probation in a child pornography case. Sakal was detained without bond.

Narrative: In June 2015 deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office arrested the above individuals on Circuit Court Body Attachments that had been issued in connection with Child Support cases.
All subjects were detained on bond in the Detention Center pending an initial appearance in front of a Circuit Court Judge.
