Incident: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Date of Incident: 3 July 2015

Location: S/B Salisbury Blvd. at Bridgeview St., Salisbury, MD

Suspect: Robert Charles Victor, 58, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 3 July 2015 at 2:31 AM a deputy stopped a subject later identified as Robert Victor after clocking him on radar speeding on a motorcycle.  Upon making contact with Victor, the deputy detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Victor. That odor, along with other physical indicators, prompted the deputy to initiate sobriety testing. Following that testing, the deputy placed Victor under arrest for DUI.

During subsequent processing, Victor refused to submit to a breath test. The deputy also discovered that Victor’s privilege to drive had been both suspended and revoked by the State of Maryland.

This is Victor’s sixth arrest for DUI. Victor has four prior convictions for DUI related offenses plus has one pending in the Circuit Court prior to this arrest.

Victor was released upon the issuance of citations.

Incident: Attempted Burglary

Date of Incident: 5 July 2015

Location: 32000 block of Shavox Road, Parsonsburg, MD

Suspect: Hope M. Glinowiecki, 48, Parsonsburg, MD

Narrative: On 5 July 2015 at 4:16 PM a deputy responded to a report of a subject trespassing at a residence in the 32000 block of Shavox Road. Upon arrival, the deputy identified a subject, Hope Glinowiecki, who was reportedly on the property attempting to gain entry into the residence where her boyfriend was reportedly hiding from her. Glinowiecki and her boyfriend reside at a nearby residence together.  During the investigation, the deputy was told that Glinowiecki was attempting to force several different doors open while making threats to harm her boyfriend.

The deputy placed Glinowiecki under arrest and transported her to the Central booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Glinowiecki in the Detention Center in lieu of $20,000.00 bond.

Incident: Burglary

Date of Incident: 5 July 2015

Location: 202 S. Main Street Hebron, MD

Suspect: Male Juvenile, 16, Rhodesdale, MD

Narrative: On 6 July 2015 at 7:10 AM a deputy began an investigation into the burglary of eight separate building on the grounds of the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department Carnival grounds. Investigation revealed that the doors were forced open. A 50 inch flat screen LED television and two free standing oscillating fans were stolen. Damage estimated at several thousands of dollars occurred to the buildings when they were forced open.

An investigation in conjunction with the Dorchester Sheriff’s Office into a vehicle stolen from Rhodesdale and located in Wicomico County led the deputies to a 16 year old suspect who ultimately admitted to driving a stolen pickup truck from Rhodesdale to the Hebron Carnival grounds where he pulled the locked doors at the carnival ground open by utilizing a wire cable attached to the truck.

The stolen items were recovered during the investigation.

The juvenile involved will be detained by juvenile authorities pending a court appearance in this case.
