University of Maryland gets permission to serve alcohol at sporting events
COLLEGE PARK, Md. —The Prince George's County Board of License Commissioners has approved the sale of alcohol during University of Maryland College Park sporting events, school officials confirmed.
The approval will allow the university to sell beer and wine at Byrd Stadium and Xfinity Center starting this fall. But, this is only a one-year trial period.
Supporters say the plan will help stop binge drinking before games. Also, the university claims that it could generate about $500,000 annually to help fund student services such as mental health counseling, sexual assault prevention and responsible drinking programs. More

Don't you just love it , they will generate 500,000 to help mental health , teach them how to drink a drug.
