Donald Trump doubled down on his controversial comments about illegal immigration from Mexico on Monday, saying that "infectious disease is pouring across the border."
Trump issued a lengthy — nearly 900 word — statement invoking the death of a San Francisco woman shot and killed last week by a suspect who had previously been deported to Mexico five times.
"This is merely one of thousands of similar incidents throughout the United States," Trump said Monday. "In other words, the worst elements in Mexico are being pushed into the United States by the Mexican government."
The 2016 Republican presidential candidate said that Mexican drug cartels are using immigrants to smuggle heroin, cocaine and other illicit drugs into the United States.
"The Border Patrol knows this. Likewise, tremendous infectious disease is pouring across the border," Trump continued.
His latest comments come nearly three weeks after he made remarks at his White House campaign launch that led to an intense public backlash from business and Latino groups.

Wonder how many illegals the Donald employs in his little empire.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that Mexico has a higher inoculation / vaccination rate than the US (99% vs. 92%)
ReplyDeleteI think Trump is a democratic plant to screw this up so bad on the Republican side that Hilary is a sure thing.
ReplyDeleteI think "The Donald" is speaking the truth and people have trouble handling the truth.....Run Donald!....Run!!!...
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you 12:00PM
ReplyDeleteThe truth is something that a great portion of the public is in denial of. I think it's called "Liberalism or Government Trust".

Don't believe a word from the more corrupt than the US Mexican government.
Trump is 100 percent on the mark. Mexico is a very wealthy country. They have more billionaires as citizens than all most anywhere else.
The billionaires who are controlling the government want the criminals and all others who they think as 2nd class citizens out of Mexico and that is why they are sending them here.
Try and sneak into Mexico and see what happens. Now if you are rich they will welcome you with wide open arms.
9:58 You can bet that there are no illegals employed with the Trump empire. Big companies like his have all the best people working in human resources to make sure all the immigrant employees have the proper work visas. Besides you'd have to be a fool to think that because if any were you better believe they or a representative would have gone to the media by now.
One thing about the Donald...NOBODY can buy him.
ReplyDeleteHe has all the money.
Unions are powerless, so is Big Pharma, and Big agribusiness.
Never thought that the good ole USA would be controlled by hate mongers. If you live long enough. SAD
