Healthier years are not horrible or worthless years but I for one would miss meat.
And the backup is "a chalk board says so". How many years have humans been eating meat? I think 1.5 million. Probably adapted pretty well by now.

How about vegetable bacon?
Unfortunately the claim is completely untrue.Vegetarians have all sorts of issues with mal nutrition and poor balance of nutrition.And they don't live longer.
