Swing Dance Fundraiser this Wednesday!


The Salisbury Art and Entertainment Committee is hosting a "Swing Dance" fundraiser on Wednesday, July 29th at Headquarters Live, 115 S. Division Street, Salisbury.  

The dance starts at 7 PM with a basic Swing Lesson provided by Pam Wood, owner of Ballroom Made Simple.The event is sponsored by Kuhn's Jewelry, George Strott Law, Headquarters Live, the Park & Flea and the Salisbury Art & Entertainment Committee.  

At 7:30 Neon Swing X-perience takes the stage for an hour of dancing.   Then, when the band takes a break Hugo Hernandez and  Olivia Davidson will demonstrate Swing (Jive), Cha Cha, Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. Hugo Hernandez started ballroom dancing in high school. Later He started teaching at Dancing on the shore for Amanda Showell. He has competed in Salsa and ballroom competitions in Maryland and has also performed locally and around the Eastern Shore.

The $5 Admission includes a raffle chance to win Dance Lessons with Ballroom Made Simple!
