COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) - An online petition has surfaced on the website change.org, calling for the removal for the African American Monument on State House grounds.
The petition states that if the Confederate flag is removed from the State House grounds, then the African American Monument should be removed as well, as this would violate the 2001 bi-partisan compromise.
That compromise allowed for the Confederate flag to be removed from the dome to the Confederate Soldier's Monument and saw the African American Monument erected in 2001, as a result.

ReplyDeleteI don't see any point in worrying about it. Most of those who claim to be "offended" by history will probably drop out of school before they even get to history. This is why they are called dumb ......
ReplyDeleteNo one ever accused South Carolinians of being smart.
ReplyDeletewhere did u find this? I would love to post on face book. map
ReplyDeleteTake that crap down!! I am very offended, especially after that monument was put up as a compromise for the Battle flag they just took down. You can't have it both ways!!
ReplyDeleteget over it and good luck with that one the flag took a Loss
ReplyDeleteIt's not a matter of truly being "offended".
ReplyDeleteThey are not going to stop destroying the image of white heritage and replacing it with their own fictionalized, exaggerated rewrite of history that glorifies blacks and demonizes and marginalizes whites. I believe it is part of the planned strategy of a new elitist regime that has taken over the "Democratic Party", with its gullible, loyal block of self-centered low information voters. Make them think they are victims, find excuses for their failures and incompetency, and someone else to blame for all their problems.
With such ignorant, violent peasants at the ready to loot, pillage and scorch the countryside, a civilized country is practically held hostage by the orcs.
Superiority complex at its best. 8:15pm.
ReplyDelete11:47 You drunken fool. If you don't stand for something....you'll fall for anything.
