Second incident in 5 days in that area (remember the helicopter on Thursday night?). What everyone feared is now happening - crime is moving out of the Booth Street and Church Street areas and spilling into the "nicer" areas in Salisbury. In 5 years this place is going to look like Detroit, with crime overrunning the entire County.
I know that people make idle threats about leaving this area, but never do. Not me, I am now actively pursuing taking my family out of Salisbury. And, you can call me racists, but I am going to move to a white community. Welfare, and the black experience has ruined this country
But you better do it quick, because obama's "Fairness in Housing" edict, which outlines every neighborhood according to race, ethnicity and income, is about to force every middle class neighborhood to take a piece of the ghetto.
The wealthy neighborhoods, such as Obama's own home, won't be subjected to it, of course.
Ride around town after 9 pm. Salisbury is beginning to look like a ghost town. Most shops and stores are closed except for Walmart. It's very depressing. The economy is failing. It's sad to see what a once vibrant town has now become!
I have lived in what was "decent" housing in a local apartment complex on the south side of town. We old manager was forced to "retire" because she was giving the residents to many breaks. Many working families lived there and she wouldn't file eviction papers on the 6th (rent dye by the 5th) if you got paid that same week. She just added the late charges and no issues. The working families were fine with that. Now that she has been gone a few years, a new manager, was hired (who I have heard was fired from 2 other complexes for something dealing with missing money). Well this one files eviction papers on the 6th (or the Tuesday) just after the 5th regardless if you are paying within the next couple of days or not. And she also charges late fees on top of late fees. So for us working families not only do we have the late fee but also the court costs. It doesn't matter if you call her and tell her that you get paid in 2 days (same week she files) she still files. So now that most of the working families are slowly leaving the complex it is becoming a run down place to live . . it is getting the "feel" of Pemberton, Waterside, East Road and Booth Street. Kids cant go outside, drug dealing in the parking lots there is always something going on. We never had these problems before and I have heard that she is attempting to turn this complex into Section 8. Now why would you want to do that when you have people in here that will clean up and respect the premises, take pride in our apartments, communicate with our neighbors and practice overall upkeep in the complex? Well now instead of that happening all the working families are slowly moving out and they are being replaced with younger, rowdy, ignorant, people who blast music at all hours of the day and night, who have people coming on the premises and threaten to shoot it up over a guy, police raids, and warrants being served. It used to be such a nice place and great location but I am afraid that those who are "entitled" to benefits are taking it over and those of us who actually work are moving out because we refuse to live in a state of disarray or disorganization or disrespect. I just don't get it . . these entitled people don't work, have babies to get more assistance, free health care but those of us who work are slowly going from the middle class to the class of the working poor.
Rinnier Development is one of the biggest landlords in Salisbury. They have high rents and no compasion or regard for their tenants. ALL they want is their MONEY!
This country's biggest disgrace is and continues to be the dire plight of the working poor. This is due to democrat policies. The biggest concern should be the democrats liberal immigration policy and I'm not talking about illegals, but the legals the democrats are handing out work Visa's to left and right at the bidding of big companies. The big companies want a steady stream of unskilled workers to fill the jobs. This guarantees that current employees will never get any significant raises and get out of poverty. Raising the minimum wage (which is the brainstorm of big business to rid competition) won't help. The only thing that will help is less workers for the jobs and then wages will have to increase. Democrats tried to appease people for awhile by saying an education is the path out of poverty. All this bright idea did was to lower the academic standards and now companies looking for workers in the science, technology and math fields have to look outside the US for qualified employees because US graduates can't compete due to the lower US education standards.
Salisbury now has Baltimore crime levels. It is no longer safe to be out and about in Salisbury in late evening hours. If you value your life you will be very careful. I would never stop in a convenience store after 9 at night on any side of town. If you follow the crime statistic you will see that crime in Salisbury is no longer in just one area of town. These animals are getting hungry and they are going where the money can be found and where fools don't think they need to worry about safety. You are NOW all potential targets. Police need to be doing safety lessons again...like cutting your scrubs back and leaving on lights. It would be helpful to educate people who feel that they are immune from this plight.

Save my reply. I live outside of town, a couple miles from that Royal Farms. I have silent yet powerful weapons waiting on any fool who happens to try to do me wrong/harm.
I won't be calling the police, or any ambulances. I will kill them, dig a hole and put them in it. And when/if the police come for me, I will kill them or they will kill me. If anyone is on or inside my property uninvited, they are wrong and I will take them off the property. That includes the glorified guards of the elite. This is private property, not city, county, state or federal property. Enter at your own risk.
Section 8 housing for ya.
