Please be very careful as a Salisbury resident has informed Salisbury News that someone claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House using a 876 phone exchange. Many times you'll find they leave messages for you to call them back. BEWARE, once you call that number you are giving them the ability to use your phone line and rack up, (in some cases) hundreds of thousands of dollars in phone bills. They are calling from Jamaica.
8XXer answer. 410 and 443 numbers look out, they are seemingly local, but not usually unless you recognize them. Never anon/ unknown, they can leave a message, and usually won't, so there yuo go.
We do not answer the phone is there is an unknown, private number, or anything similar. If a name is showing that we do not know, we don't answer; likewise with the cell phones. I do reverse directory on the numbers that do show up and they are all questionable numbers.
