PGA Tour Star Announces He’ll Paint Over Confederate Flag On Original ‘General Lee’

Only days after TV Land announced they would stop airing reruns of “Dukes of Hazzard,” another piece of Bo and Luke’s legacy is going the way of the dodo.

PGA Tour star Bubba Watson announced on Thursday night that he’d decided to paint over the Confederate flag on the roof of his “General Lee.”

  10. Bubba, just sell it to someone who can appreciate it. So, what about the name, "General Lee"? If you steal his flag, is he still a General? Or, just call the car, "Lee".

  11. It's not the General Lee without the Confederate Flag, he should just sell it to someone that can appreciated it as an icon. BTW, all he's worried about are his endorsements.
