After seeing a swarm of hammerhead sharks in the water off the OC coast last month on WBOC, I think the shark cages are a great idea even if it is a joke.
These are actually made from PVC pipe and were put together on the Outer Banks of North Carolina (in Kill Devil Hills) to make a joke post card photo. Quite useless and dangerous.
10:03 AM you are right. I saw this on FOX NEWS yesterday. It is flimsy PVC. It was a joke. If this had been real, and if there had been sharks around them, that homemade junk would have lasted maybe one whole minute before being bitten in half.
i already have excellent shark repellent. it's called staying on my blanket.
