(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released new State Department documents showing that Hillary Clinton and the State Department’s response to the Benghazi attack was immediately determined by top Obama White House officials, particularly Ben Rhodes, then-White House deputy strategic communications adviser, and Bernadette Meehan, a spokesperson for the National Security Council. The new documents were forced from the U.S. State Department under court order in a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01511)).
Judicial Watch filed a FOIA request on June 13, 2014, and subsequently a lawsuit on September 4, 2014, seeking:
Any and all records concerning, regarding, or related to notes, updates, or reports created in response to the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This request includes, but is not limited to, notes taken by then Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton or employees of the Office of the Secretary of State during the attack and its immediate aftermath.
A September 11, 2012, email sent at 6:21 p.m. by State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland to Meehan, Under Secretary for Management Patrick F. Kennedy, and Clinton’s personal aide Jacob Sullivan shows that the State Department deferred to the White House on the official response to the Benghazi attack. Referencing pending press statements by Barack Obama and Clinton, Nuland wrote: “We are holding for Rhodes clearance. BMM, pls advise asap.”
Meehan responded three minutes later, at 6:24 p.m.: “Ben is good with these and is on with Jake now too.”
Rhodes sent an email at 9:48 p.m. to senior White House and State officials on the issue: “We should let the State Department statement be our comment for the night.”

WH and State Dept collusion on the response......
ReplyDeleteSay it isn't so!
Just a few more days till we get rid of the thug in the WH...hopefully we don't end up with something worse.....remember when we thought Carter was bad!?
"All evidence now points to Hillary Clinton, with the approval of the White House, as being the source of the Internet video lie.
ReplyDeleteSomeone recently commented that Hillary is a pathological liar. Is she?
"...pathological lying has been defined as "falsification entirely
disproportionate to any discernible end in view, may be extensive and very
complicated, and may manifest over a period of years or even a lifetime". The
individual may be aware they are lying, or may believe they are telling the
truth, being unaware that they are relating fantasies."
Hillary has a long, documented history, politically speaking, of creating lies to cover for her woeful shortcomings as attorney, senator and secretary of state. But don't for a second think that she doesn't know that she's lying. It's sporadic, situation-dependent and wholly self-serving. She does not revise or retract statements and invariably sticks with the stories, even in the face of overwhelming solid evidence. And these are just the ones in which she's caught. Pathological liars feel guilt and remorse for their lies. Hillary obviously does not.
So, a liar she is, but not a pathological liar. Her lies are not born of a brain that can't help itself, but the products of desperation, avarice and low esteem for the rest of humanity.
If Republicans were in the White House, this article would be on the front page of every newspaper in the country. Everyone should read this article.
ReplyDeleteTwo quotes:
"The new documents show that the Obama administration engaged domestic and foreign Islamist groups and foreign nationals to push the Internet video narrative."
"The State Department withheld communications on September 12, 2012, between Hillary Clinton’s senior aide Huma Abedin and Rashad Hussain about an article passed by him about how “American Muslim leaders” were tying the video to the Benghazi attack."
Abedin's family is up to their neck in the Muslim Brotherhood. How she ever got security clearance in the first place is a testament to the level of corruption that emanates from this entire bunch of "Progressives".
There is plenty of other evidence indicting the White House and the State Department. Anyone who looks into this can connect the dots. This whole thing stinks to high heaven.
The lion's share of the press didn't timely pursue this matter, and still won't. The Obama and Hillary camps were allowed to portray this as a partisan witch hunt. So much time has passed that most people are disinterested or buy into the "Republican Witch Hunt" theory.
This Witch is real! Her name is Hillary!
Obama, the Warlock, continues to work his "Change" on the U.S.A. God help us.
So sad. Also, can I state that I am so tired of hearing about Democrat this and Republican that! This is what politicians want! As long as there is a divide in out country, there will always be self serving issues. Our country has definitely gone down hill in the past 15-20 years, tremendously.
ReplyDeleteThe reason you can't ignore "Democrats" and "Republicans" is because the "Media" is so left slanted. Anyone who tries to bring this up gets slammed as an agent or ally of the Republicans. Everyone on the left, including the President badmouths Fox News, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc.
ReplyDeleteIf the media were doing their job, they would all be reporting on this. They're covering for the left. They try to discredit and marginalize anyone that doesn't play ball with them. Sadly, it's working. People are more interested in transjenner than Benghazi.
