Dog who started life with taped snout now getting photo shoot and new family
In mid-May the world was shocked to hear about Caitlyn, a young Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who was found with her mouth taped shut. The abused pup was rescued by Charleston Animal Control Officers and has since undergone several emergency surgeries and medical treatments to repair her lips, tongue and snout.
These days, the 15-month-old girl is frolicking like a celebrity on beaches, and posing for photographers with several handsome firemen for an annual charity calendar for the organization that helped save her life, the Charleston Animal Society.
One of the firefighters Caitlyn was seen making friends with was Josh Allen of the St. Andrews Fire Department. Organizers for the calendar say Allen visited with Caitlyn a few days prior to the shoot to have some time bonding with her. And it shows. The two look super happy and natural together.
When this story first came out I almost couldn't even look at the pictures of this poor dog...thank God for the loving souls that rescued and helped this dog...I'm so excited to hear of how she is recovering and the life she has now!!
People are so terribly mean to any animals have a special place in hell waiting for them.
Pities are so smart and beautiful. They are loyal even to abusing scum. I am happy she has had good decent people to help save her and great medical treatment. GOD BLESS ALL OF GOD'S CREATURES!
