Prosecutors have information indicating that Freddie Gray "attempted to injure himself" during a previous arrest, but have intentionally withheld it from their criminal case against the six Baltimore police officers charged in Gray's apprehension and death in April, the officers' attorneys said in a court filing Thursday.
"Based upon information and belief, the State's Attorney's Office was informed of this fact, yet failed to disclose to the Defendants any statements, reports, or other communications relating to this information," they wrote.
Gray, a 25-year-old Baltimore man with a history of arrests, died in April after suffering a severe spinal cord injury in a police van. Six officers who were involved in his arrest and transport on April 12 have been charged with violations that range from misconduct in office to second-degree murder.

Of course Mosby without this along with a ton of other stuff. Words out of her own mouth claimed she did a parallel investigation working 12 plus hour days and the defense was handed over 1 yes ONE witness statement.
ReplyDeleteI knew the second Mosby got on the steps of the War Memorial to announce the railroad job she was no good. She make a fool out of herself that day, acting like some pulpit preaching maniac.
I could tell by her shifty eyes, demeanor and mannerisms that she was overflowing with corruption and one again (as always) I was correct.
Her self proclaimed "5 generations"-a lie in an of itself-of police officers in her family turns out they were all corrupt and criminal police officers. Her police officer mother was and still may be a crack head and the father held up drug dealers at gun point and was stealing from then. Her police officer uncle and grandfather were also worthless.
Oh but the blacks support her like she's a goddess. What a bunch of foolish simpletons. This is an example of why the black race hasn't advanced like other races such as immigrant Asaisn whose children are now doctors and other professionals while blacks are mopping up prison floors counting the days until their release date. Blacks do not vote smart.
Your right. Growing up next door was a Korean family with 5 kids. Mom and dad put the first born through college once she graduated she got a job. Still lived at home paying for college for the next one. So on and so forth until they ALL had a college education with out ANY HANDOUTS from the government.
ReplyDeleteLet the jury see all of the evidence....
ReplyDeleteI suspect there will be some form of jury nullification here regardless though!
Now these reports are coming out? The reports are more than likely new and obamaish. Like his birth certificate. The FOP will stop at nothing to vindicate themselves. Bunch of crooked cops whose spent their entire careers helping other crooked cops.
ReplyDeleteShe is going to fall over many aspects of this case. She used it to get her minute of fame. You have to look deep at someone willing to take the freedom of innocent people to exploit one's self. She is no good.
ReplyDelete11:48-The defense lawyers are doing their jobs. In addition to the obligations under the discovery rules, as a prosecutor Mosby has an additional obligation under the rules of ethics for prosecutors that requires her to hand over all exculpatory information AND any information that might lead to the discovery of exculpatory information, regardless of admissibility at trial. The prosecutor's role is to seek justice for all -- not to hide evidence that might lead to proof of the defendants' innocence.
ReplyDeleteIt is Mosby who will stop at nothing to vindicate herself.
