WASHINGTON — The boyfriend of Sandra McClary — the mother charged with neglect and reckless endangerment for leaving her daughter in a car seat on an Anne Arundel County road — has been charged with assaulting McClary.
Charging documents filed in District Court say 26-year-old Cordell Lee Hall, of Baltimore, grabbed McClary’s wrist several times, and forcefully pushed her in the chest and head, on July 4th.
Hall was charged with second-degree assault Sunday.
In court earlier this week, McClary’s mother, Belinda Deberry testified Hall hit her repeatedly in the car. Deberry said McClary was the victim of domestic abuse, and drove away in fear for her life.
McClary’s bond was set at $500,000.
