American civil rights activist and Baptist minister Jesse Jackson has an estimated net worth of $10 million. He has accumulated his net worth as a prominent civil rights activist and a pastor along with public speaking opportunities and his founding of the civil rights organization Rainbow/PUSH.
Mr. insignificant, Mr. irrelevant, whose self promoting rhetoric has only accomplished one thing; to promote his bank account. He is not respected or has any significant importance to this country or the black community. I find him and Al Sharpton to be cancer's on the race relations of this country. They do more harm then good with their arrogance and spot light grabbing.
He and Sharpton shake down businesses for "donations", in exchange for not trumping up "racism" accusations or finding some pretense to "oppose" some critical project or permit they are involved in.

They are a prime example of why "religious organizations" should not be tax exempt.
