On June 3, 2015, Andrew Hull, age 25, of Walkersville, Maryland, was convicted by a Wicomico County Jury of Rape 2nd Degree, Sodomy, and related charges. An investigation conducted by the Salisbury Police Department revealed that on November 1, 2014, Hull attended a party hosted by the victim at her home. The investigation further established that Hull had sex with the victim without her consent. Hull was taken into custody after the verdict and sentencing has been deferred for a presentence investigation.
Wicomico County State’s Attorney, Matthew A. Maciarello, commended the Salisbury City Police Department, Det. Thompsen, for their work in the investigation and prosecution of this case. Mr. Maciarello also thanked the citizens of Wicomico County who sat on the jury, and Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Kristen Schultz who prosecuted the case.

ReplyDeleteAs soon as I noticed when his attorney was admitted to practice - 1967 - I knew there would be a problem. Plus, he said he was a "family friend." OMG. Never do this. You need someone vibrant, and someone with enough distance to defend you - not be your friend.
