POLICE UNITE WITH MARYLAND FOOD BANK TO PREPARE DONATIONS IN FIRST “MARYLAND UNITES: DAY OF SERVICE” EVENT

(BALTIMORE, MD) – Representatives from the Maryland State Police and the Maryland Capitol Police, including Colonel William Pallozzi, Superintendent of the Maryland State Police and Chief Michael Wilson, Chief of the Maryland Capitol Police, will unite at the Maryland Food Bank Headquarters to sort, pack and assemble food donations in support of thousands of family who struggle with food insecurity in Maryland. This event is part of Governor Hogan’s “Maryland Unites: Day of Service” initiative, giving state employees four hours of paid leave to participate in a volunteer activity of their choice to help improve the quality of life of Maryland citizens.
