For working year round, they sure have a lot of time off. Even Wicomico Co school's are open 5 days a week.
ReplyDeleteWho is "they"? Office staff may work four 10 hour days. Or, they may work on Fridays, but the office just isn't open. Frankly, Wicomico County schools should offer 10 hour days in the summer too. It would allow for more energy conservation.
ReplyDeleteWicomico did this same exact schedule for years to conserve energy but the public complained about it. They thought it was a paid day off Instead of longer work day Monday-Thursday. Go figure!
DeleteAmen brother. I wish I could work 10 hours per day for 4 days over the summer. Putting in 60+ hours now each week at my school so this would be a nice break.
