Resume:
Dover, DE-The Delaware State Police and The American Legion held Graduation exercises Friday June 26th at the Delaware State Police Training Academy in Dover Delaware.

32 young men and women from across the State, who endured a weeklong training regimen which parallels much of what a Delaware State Trooper would undergo while attending the State Police Training Academy, were awarded their graduation certificates.

In addition to the rigors of the daily physical fitness schedule, the cadets attended classes that ranged from crash investigation to evidence detection and fraud investigation. During the entire week the cadets took up residence at the academy to give them a better understanding about the profession of law enforcement and what it takes to become a police officer.

This is the 44th year for Trooper Youth Week and without the sponsorship of the American Legion the program could not be possible.
