When you have a Council President allegedly not telling the truth, who can you trust and where is all the money?
It was reported today that Carla Moore was hired by another Town Employee. Our sources state, (flat out) "that's not true".
It is in the Charter, the Council President hires and fires. Carla Moore was hired by her father, sources say. She started off as a part time employee in the main office handling checks and cash while in High School. She was then hired on full time after she got graduated High School.
Law Enforcement and the States Attorneys Office need to dig deeper. Putting blame and responsibility on someone else, rather then facing the truth is poor leadership and it will certainly make people wonder what other false information has been stated.
The Council should immediately remove Denver Moore under the no confidence rule, at least until this matter is resolved.
Daughter And father need to be fired

ReplyDeleteIs this a picture of the same one (blonde) in the other posts? Just curious. The dyed hair makes her incognito to a point
ReplyDeleteYou are not going to find a more corrupt atmosphere of government then in the state of Maryland. You will find it at the city, county, state in all areas of the state.
ReplyDeleteIf there's a chain of corruption related to this crime, it should be noted, investigated.
ReplyDeleteIt always pays to know someone around here if you want a great job. Makes me sick but that's how it works on the shore.
ReplyDeleteMore than jobs. Landlords with code issues to criminals. Shore is full of dirty money.
DeleteDenver is also in charge of the Pittsville Cemetery Fund also.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this should also be investigated!!
I am confused. Are you referring to the Pittsville Town Commisioners are the County Council. More than likely both should be held accountable.
ReplyDeleteDenver had lots of unpaid tax properties in the DT this week.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she is protecting her father by taking the blame..
ReplyDeleteHundreds of checks were written to herself! She was even stealing from the town after she was fired. She had automatic payments set up and I guess no one caught it.
ReplyDeleteSay what you will but... She is smoking hot!
ReplyDelete^someone has a turtleneck fetish^
DeleteIt's time for all town and cities to dissolve their charters and let there be one Wicomico County. No double taxes and no double trouble.
ReplyDeleteDenver also controlled the lions club money and now the town taxpayers are maintaining the building
ReplyDeleteSounds like a solid defense to me,but I have way more vision than the average reader.Probation at best.

ReplyDeleteSolid defense? How do you defend her stealing all that money? Im just wondering what you see that others don't.
1:32 must have low standards, or a very odd definition of "hot". She looks unattractive, at least in this photo, and she looks evil to boot.
ReplyDelete11:21,right on,justice for most not all. Also depends who your friends are.
ReplyDeleteIf this had happened in Somerset County, it wouldn't even raise an eyebrow!!
ReplyDeleteYou can't fire an elected official. But the voting residents can view their town charter to see how to remove such an official. Or maybe the MD State Code.
ReplyDeleteIf they aren't gone already, then they are probably removing or destroying evidence.
ReplyDeleteBusiness as usual in the then O'Malley State Maryland.. where everyone named O'Malley gained a position in Government.
