SUSPECTS HAVE BEEN CHARGED IN SERIES OF GRAFFITI TAGGINGS

The Ocean City Police Department Criminal Investigation Division has charged two Montgomery County men with the series of graffiti taggings discovered in the area of 16th Street north though 20th Street on April 19. The two suspects are identified as Raul A. Vasquez, Jr., 20, of Silver Spring, MD, and Jose A. Zavala, 20, of Chevy Chase, MD.

Officers first discovered graffiti in the area of 17th Street and Philadelphia Avenue at approximately 5 a.m. on April 19, 2015. After a canvas of the area, officers located approximately 45 graffiti taggings affecting multiple businesses and citizens. With assistance from area businesses, officers were quickly able to determine that suspects from outside the local area were responsible for the vandalism.

During the investigation, detectives worked closely with police in Montgomery County after that area experienced a similar rash of graffiti taggings throughout the county.

Ocean City detectives have charged both Vasquez and Zavala with 21 counts of malicious destruction of property less than $1,000 and four counts of malicious destruction of property greater than $1,000. A criminal summons to appear in court was issued to Vasquez and Zavala on May 28, 2015.

  4. I doubt they are Mexicans. Montgomery County is a sanctuary county for El Salvadorians and I would bet money that these dirtbags are MS 13

  5. 25% of Mexico population has infiltrated US - what are the chances some of them choose to "vacation" here?

  7. 11:40 Unfortunately you're probably right. Frederick County has been destroyed by them, worse than cockroaches. White flight for those who can afford it, seeing your neighborhood crumble around you for everyone who can't.

Watch for the "South of the Border" stickers plastered on street signs, utility boxes, mailboxes, everywhere. That's how MS-13 tags "their" property.

You see one of those stickers, call the gang unit at the police station and let them know the Brown Plague has infested the area. They need to take it VERY seriously. After they take a report, remove every "South of the Border" sticker you see that isn't on someone's car.

Only good thing about them, is they'll keep the black gangbangers in their place.

Oh yes it has. The Frederick Towne Mall used to be nice. Even after FSK Mall opened. Along came the trash and now look at it.

  10. Last time I was in the Frederick Towne Mall, there wasn't even a dollar store in there. They had a 69cent store, Half the merchandise was also piled on makeshift tables like a third world market somewhere. I think it was Guatemalans running it. Just shocking. As a teenager I used to save my allowance to go to Waxie Maxie's, and maybe spare a quarter or two for the arcade next door. Montgomery Wards, JC Penney, and so on.

Once the other side of Rt. 40 started going Section 8, it was predictable. Working class whites & a few blacks, then mostly black, then Mexicans, and finally the Hondurans, Salvadorans, Haitians and Guatemalans ran out most everybody else...
