Obama Wax Sculpture ‘Too White’ – Guess Who Complained?
WASHINGTON – The wax figure of President Barack Obama on display at Madame Tussauds Museum looks “too white” according to a group of activists concerned with race, ethnicity, and the way African-American men are represented in today’s popular culture.
“We don’t like the President’s color one bit,” said Summer Wells, spokesperson for the activists who prefer to be called “Waxivists.” The group filed a formal complaint with the world-renowned museum, and requested a face-to-face meeting with Marie Tussaud herself, charging the gallery owner with “deliberate distortion and misrepresentation of an African-American historical figurine.”
Well once again the ACTIVISTS here are showing just how STUPID they really are! Marie Tussaud who they clearly have requested a meeting with DIED in 1850. These people have a problem with the one person who created this statue but it is a team who creates them.
I bet Summer does not have a problem with Michelle Obama being a lot smaller than she really is, though....
