Hillary slams 20-week abortion ban

The Hillary Clinton campaign jabbed at House Republicans after they passed a bill banning abortions after 20 weeks on Wednesday.

"Politicians should not interfere with personal medical decisions, which should be left to a woman, her family and her faith, in consultation with her doctor or health care provider," Clinton's senior policy adviser Maya Harris said in a statement.

She added that the bill conflicts with Roe v. Wadethe Supreme Court decision that protects the right to an abortion. Court precedent has generally protected abortions up to the point of viability, at 24 weeks.

  3. Secretary Clinton do you support all abortions? "Let me be clear, abortions halt the fetus' life, so at that point, what difference does it make?"

  4. So, with your logic, Hillary, Obamacare should be thrown out. After all, those decisions should only be between the Patient and family and the Doctor or health care provider.

  5. And she's also correct for what it's worth.I would never vote for Hillary, nor would I consider the abortion issue worthy of debate, but in this case she is right.

  6. I could care less one way or another about abortions. I believe that you should deal with the "mistakes" you make, but at the same time I understand underlying health circumstances and potential well-being for the child and/or the burden of uncared for children on society so I ride the fence on abortion. But that isn't why I'm here....

We have major financial issues. We have major civil unrest. We have political corruption. We have basic civil rights being trampled on (I know that technically abortion also involves basic rights). We have police being murdered in cold blood. We have a handful of dirty cops. We have people constantly abusing federal aid and assistance programs. We have extremely poor federal spending. We have people disrespectfully trampling on Old Glory. We have troops dying everyday overseas. The list goes on and on... But yet we are still arguing over abortion!? There are much BIGGER issues to be concerned about than an issue like abortion that will NEVER have a discernible solution. Perhaps this is a more democratic view, but I say just simply let it be and allow the individual decide what they want to do in lieu of trying to regulated it - shoot, tax it if you want to regulate it at all! Every time an election nears, republicans are baited into the abortion issue by democrats and by the time elections are held the democrats are long done talking about it while republicans can't let the topic go - ever notice that? I swear up and down, it is a democratic tactic that the republicans fall for EVERY TIME! LET IT GO! Republicans are losing support and elections over unsolvable issues like abortion. Let's focus on topics that are of immediate concern and CAN BE FIXED! Let's fix our economy, let's get rid of this "Health Care" crap, let's pay and take care of our troops, let's fix welfare, let's create jobs, let's educate our kids, let's do the things that really matter now! The republicans need to realize that they are being duped every time the word "Abortion" comes up and quit playing into the hands of democrats. The republicans have been their own problem by being more of the stubborn donkey on topics like this while democrats are fulfilling their agendas while they are distracted. I hate to say it, but the republicans are to blame for a lot of their failures...
