At 11:30 last night we published:
SPD Calls For Service April 10th, 11th and 12th 2015.
At 12:53 today we published:
Local Law Enforcement And Bogus Reports
As you can see from the NEW image above, the City has now not only updated their information, they are now calling it a MURDER under investigation.
Yesterday WBOC tried to pass it off by saying the police were in possession of video surveillance, implying their was no foul play.
As mentioned earlier today, it seems law enforcement became extremely upset that Salisbury News had exposed a dead naked person at PRMC inside a vehicle and once again, no one else has covered that FACTUAL information.
Now, we hold in our possession SCREEN SHOTS of the images we not only took but also published. Someone, (probably law enforcement) has been trying to suggest in comments that we altered our original information. We have evidence that this is not at all true. It was absolutely held back and corrected most recently, more than likely because we exposed it.
Do NOT trust your Mayor and Police Chief any longer. There is much more crime going on than is being reported. YOU should be demanding to know who the person was who was found dead at PRMC as well.
I thought the TV show was Naked and Afraid---not Naked and Dead
ReplyDeleteGreat Job Joe. This can be used for the next person running against Jim for Mayor.
ReplyDeleteYour good Joe!!! keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThis IDIOT mayor is going to get MORE people KILLED all so they can cover up Actual Crime stats so NOT to scare away SU PARENTS and New home owners, hey mayor if that was my kid OH BOY.
ReplyDeleteIt is as if they are doing everything they can think of to try and turn this into something other than a murder. They always blame it on it being an active investigation but the thing is the details are already out there, so should be included in the press release or if not true that should be told as well. This is what creates distrust.
ReplyDeleteLiars don't understand that the truth always comes out - sometimes it takes longer than others, but it ALWAYS COMES OUT!
ReplyDeleteAccording the to victim's grandmother's Facebook postings the police have a video showing 4 people chasing the victim and he had left home to buy marijuana. Doesn't say where the video was from so it could have been from some distance to where he went into the river.
ReplyDeleteHow come these scum perps have not been arrested yet SPD sux.
ReplyDeleteI'm not in law enforcement, but it seems to me that a review of the deceased person's cell phone records would indicate either calls or texts to the people he was meeting. Get one of them and he will lead you to the others.
ReplyDeleteRead press release from PD posted at %:03 on this site. Victim had no signs of trauma, entered the water on his own. No charges are going to be filed since video evidence is showing no crime was committed as far as murder goes.
ReplyDeleteFunny how this is a murder, but the mayor and police chief are not going to call it a murder so the crime rates won't go up. An unsolved/solved murder.
ReplyDelete521 NOT with the mayor and SPD on it.
ReplyDeleteThere is video out showing the incident... Looks like he jumped, but it's is from a distance with some glare from lights...
ReplyDeleteSo it's not considered ANY kind of criminal offense when you have a group of people chasing someone into the water and they die? So if you chase someone off the roof of the Salisbury Parking Garage, that's not a crime either, right?
ReplyDeleteBoy, I tell you, this Safe Streets Program where the Mayor and Chief of Police can change the different levels of crime is, well, shall we say, convenient.
OK Mayor and Police Chief, who was the person found dead at PRMC? We want to know, quit hiding facts.
ReplyDeleteLet's not lose sight of the "fact", as reported by his own family, that he was engaging in illegal activity.. I would think if the being chased resulted in his death there could be some charges, but I'm no expert.. Also looking at case search (violent felonies) he could have been being chased for other reasons as well..
ReplyDeleteIf someone is chasing you and it causes your death its a MURDER ,joe do i have to tell this to the idiot police chief?
ReplyDeleteKeep on it joe! This goes much deeper than this! They change the ucr codes in the system after a person is charged, to a lesser crime, yet the accused' charges remain for the more serious one. For instance if it was a robbery and they charge someone with robbery they will go back and recode it as a theft even though the person is still facing charges of robbery. To the defense attorneys out there-request the most recent copy of the case report before trial and see if the coding matches your clients charges. The attorney general needs to audit SPD s ucr reporting, there is a paper trail of pink sheets.
ReplyDeleteDrug deal gone wrong
ReplyDeletechase me
i have to jump in a river knowing i cant swim
perps run off without calling for help but i cant expect anything less
spd and mayor refuse to post accurate info for days
SPD says I ENTERED THE RIVER ON MY OWN ACCORD ???????????????????????
no foul play
SPD CASE CLOSED.
MAYOR IRETON CASE CLOSED.
TOP 100 COMMUNITIES TO COMMIT A CRIME CITY OF SALISBURY.
Now Jim Ireton has his nuclear option on the table to keep EMT's and fire department services from responding to anything out of city limits. Obviously the powers that be didn't think ahead, that could cost someone there lives, or a large family with a lot of children. People shouldn't be put at risk because of political failures, like children that can't get along. Like frickin' kindergarten at the GOB. The fire department receives not only local money but also state and federal grants and many people in the county contribute to donations as well. Go ahead Ireton, the line for a lawsuit starts right here because I pay, federal tax, state tax, county tax and city tax and if I need service you better provide it. What a dufus. He's going be bragging about a surplus while the city decays financially and morally, roads are a shame and crime is rampant.
ReplyDeleteWell at least it saved us money in court costs.
ReplyDelete"So it's not considered ANY kind of criminal offense when you have a group of people chasing someone into the water and they die? So if you chase someone off the roof of the Salisbury Parking Garage, that's not a crime either, right"
ReplyDeleteGood point Joe. Maybe manslaughter? While they didn't directly mean to cause his death, their actions certainly contributed to it.
Oh get a life people...it was and still is under investigation, murder or not! Doesn't change the apparent fact that a crime occurred...give me a break whinners!
ReplyDeleteIs this Liarton ,No your idiot report is stating the kid jumped in a river by himself and no foul play while on the other hand you say he was chased so to me he was chased to his DEATH how would you feel you know you cant swim but had NO OTHER WAY OUT so where are the open arrest warrants for Murder AHOLE MAYOR.
DeleteI bet the paper shredder is working overtime at SPD this week
ReplyDeleteAnd to think of all the parents that send their kids to college here not knowing how dangerous it truly is.
ReplyDeleteAnd that, I bet, is one of the reasons babs is covering up true crime stats, she has her eye on the SU chief position.
DeleteThat is the whole mayor agenda but when one of these college kids are killed by a thug watch what happens. Thanks to the covering up by mayor james ireton and the Salisbury police chief duncan.
DeleteIt would appear as though the university is the big problem here. The mayor attempts to get the stats low so that the parents of the college students continue to pay the tuition here. It would seem that the same thing goes on in other college towns. In Frostburg, the cozy relationship between the mayor and the University president have managed to reduce the role of the Frostburg Police Officers to that of ushering them along rather than arresting violators and being proactive. Is that why SPD's bike patrol has been reduced to one man? No more proactive patrols? This is a real problem in an area where the only thing being produced is rental housing. When there are no jobs, where do you think the money to pay rent comes from? Section 8! What comes with Section 8? Drug dealers! What comes with drug dealers? Violence! What comes from violence? Homeowners leaving their homes - and when they sell them for pennies on the dollar just to get out of them, who buys them? Rental investors!
ReplyDeleteSlumlord john cannon.
DeleteJust because he went out to buy marijuana,he does not deserve to be killed for it! Who do the police think they are fooling. While you are at it,check out the police in other areas and how they report crime.
ReplyDeleteWhy wasn't there a press release on the dead body in the vehicle? My tax dollars pay your salary police do your job. Serve the public with accurate information.
ReplyDeleteIt's a MURDER!!!! A human life no matter how worthless people feel it is he mattered to some I ne and they deserve answers for his death.
ReplyDeleteAsk the idiot mayor at the press conference downtown tomorrow 345.
DeleteAgreed 832. His life is no less important than the doctor lot lawyer who taking prescription drugs or abusing alcohol. All lives matter
ReplyDeleteWhy didnt the mayor jump in and help him in his nice clean river ?
ReplyDeleteWhy would they conclude no crime had been committed when they haven't even identified the 3rd person involved in the chase. The question is why is this person hiding and not voluntarily talking with investigators. Could it be they are hiding because they have some injuries consistent with being an aggressor in an assault. I have no idea to any of these questions but at the very least it seems premature to make the conclusions they have without having contact with 3rd party.
ReplyDeleteJoe
ReplyDeleteWHERE IS THE NAACP...?
Chasing a non swimmer into a river at night and leaving no non-violent options amounts to murder. There's really no options here.
ReplyDeleteAre you for real? Made no sense at all.
DeleteNEITHER does the cover up mayor and police chief.
DeleteWe have failed to teach our children about GOD !
ReplyDelete8:50 I do agree with police holding the truth, but to say your tax dollars pay the cops salary is just dumb. With that said do you actually work or are you on the free meal plan.
ReplyDeleteJust a reminder the police do not live tax free. So for all you lazy asses on the system I guess I pay your salary so shut get off the computer blogging and find a freaking job. Just make it clear popping babies out every year does not count as employment. So as a tax paying cop who is willing to follow your mind set. I am paying your rent, food stamps, free medical for your ten kids and obviously your fuc*ing Comcast bill.
You people suck the life out of a once great nation.
How was there no other option than to jump in the river is my question....this isn't murder, maybe manslaughter since people put him into a dangerous situation but I can't believe there wasn't any other place to run or an option to call the police.
