President Barack Obama said the Baltimore riots show that police departments need to hold officers accountable for wrongdoing "instead of just the closing-ranks approach that all too often we see."
In an interview broadcast Wednesday morning on "The Steve Harvey Morning Show," Obama said his heart goes out of the Baltimore officers who were injured by rioters. He said there's no excuse for that kind of violence and Baltimore police showed "appropriate restraint."
But he said police departments have to build more trust in minority communities by building accountability and transparency.
"It's in their interest to root out folks who aren't doing the right thing, to hold accountable people when they do something wrong, instead of just the closing-ranks approach that all too often we see that ends up just feeding greater frustration and ultimately, I think, putting more police officers in danger," Obama said in the interview taped Tuesday and broadcast on black radio stations nationwide.

How about we hold the RACE BAITER IN CHARGE for inciting riots?

ReplyDeleteKickbacks rule the day,but presidential kickbacks are our worst nightmare.I feel sorry for anyone who can't see the one world government mentality in all of this.
ReplyDelete1011 perhaps you should consult a few facts. Maybe you should start by checking out how many tax payer dollars Bmore has paid out to cover their wrong doing.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to know who the Hell is going to hold OweBama accountable for the actions he's had while hiding under the guise of being "a respectable and effective head of State". If he had to be tried before a Court, at todays estimates,he's facing 500 years in the 'Big House'. He has demonstrated NO respect for the rule of law or organization morally or ethically and has been a wholesale embarassment to the United States. Lets try him and Rawlings-Blake for promoting the
attitude and idea if you are black there exists an un-spoken rule you are under privileged and entitled. Such drivel. I don't know of a single person who has sought an education, entered the workforce and NOT reaped the rewards of HARD WORK. I don't think people like Ben Carson, Colin Powell, or Hank Aaron got where they are by setting fires, assaulting Police, or any other criminal act. They put their noses to the wheel and became successful and the most important virtue 'RESPECTFUL'. OweBama should take a lesson.
This dumb ass doesn't know which way to go on anything.
ReplyDeletetake away his security and see what he says then. Treat him like an ordinary citizen and hold him accountable for his actions.
ReplyDeleteEnough said.
...but first, wrongdoing must be found... he meant to add.
